Incorporated in 2007 as the charitable arm of Commonwealth Financial Group, the Commonwealth Cares Foundation is a tangible manifestation of our corporate VISION.  The Foundation initially provided gifts and raised awareness for  local organizations through our charity golf event.   Today,  the Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization, is an active member in the community.  Through outreach efforts and generous giving by dedicated volunteers and corporate sponsors, we've had a lasting impact on people and organizations close to our hearts.  ...Winston Churchill once wrote "we make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give".


Our Vision

We believe our success is measured by the lives we change, the impact we have on others, and our involvement as responsible community members.  Our desire is to not only share the physical blessings that we have been entrusted with, but also the spiritual blessings that transforms lives.  Missionary Jim Elliott said it well...."A man is no fool who gives that which he cannot keep, to gain that which he cannot lose."

It is our desire to be faithful stewards.  We believe that "to whom much is given, much is required" as well as, "to love your neighbor as yourself," therefore we are compelled to share our resources and talents with others who are in need.  Join us in giving of your time, talents and treasure.
